Boys Lie - Girls Lie More

I haven't written in a while - too much to write down without feeling overwhelmed. I'd like to write down the last few weeks, as they've been extroidinarily good to me - not any one good thing, I've just been in a good mood and have a smile on my face. People have noticed and they complement me. And my happiness grows. Nothing has been able to keep me down. Not my dying car, not my estranged ex-girlfriend, not my impending lonesomeness come the holiday season.

I can only begin to explain last night by listing the places I went to:

RMCAD graduation, Pod/Capsule, "Five" show, Pirate Invitational (of which I was in), Studio Aiello opening, back to Pod/Capsule, up to Bender's to hang out with models and a very cute drummer, to Paola's house party, down to dance at Lipgloss, to a houseparty on 4th/Acoma and to my rock star friends house on 4th and Bannock to play childhood playground games and eat shitty food.

I started out with a dozen roses last night and I gave them away - all of them, to whoever I wanted to. I love the smiles of the girls who know me, the smiles who don't know me, the smiles from whom have boyfriends standing right beside them and the smiles of old friends I haven't seen really since my Brother's wedding. When I'm this happy - I cannot do anything be attempt to spread it.

I finally bought a new skateboard the other day - my last one got ripped off right before Halloween. I spent well over $200 on equipment and took a few hours to customize the paint job. I made a stencil out of the griptape itself, sprayed the bottom, then applied the tape on the top. I thought more work on that board was borderline genius.

I hadn't skated in a while, but I went on Wednesday really late. The only people there were a bunch of really stupid kids, smoking pot and making fools of themselves - so the entire park was basically mine. My board was very fast and I seemed to be going very high off the hips landing beautiful backside airs. I wish someone was there to take a picture.
