fuck without any sort of reason
wake up with all regret

...girl that won't talk to me after 9 months
what do you think her problem is, man?
both of us think the other is deep

...girl that works at The Williams
that allowed you PBR
that skates the Vans pool
who is stronger
you don't need her
but you can visit her anytime now

...girl in syracuse that remember your birthday
that didn't forget the past
that doesn't know all of the
past, know does she?

...girl that lives On The Hill™
remembered your birthday... first!
gave you celtic patterns
to hang reflecting light
lost her phone number, didn't you?

girl who wrote to you
wants to nap with you on warm rocks
tommorrow at one p. m.
finds your brother and his friends
prophets that clash and all sorts of concepts
that make you think -

Random conversation (paraphrased), sometime after 1:00 am in a local greasy spoon on Colfax, eating pancakes with strawberry sauce and whipped creme:

.. what are you going to do with with your PO BOX in Boulder when you move to Denver?

 

Don't know exactly, probably just keep it. I have the (EVIL) cellphone, so I'm not even planning on hooking up a phone in the next place I live.

 

Huh, (matter of factly) no phone, PO BOX in another city... kinda like a psycho killer.
