This week, I worked at school a lot, making canvases for my final projects. Both Jack
and I,
were pleased to see how all out patience and practice paid off in making really super
streacher frames. Look at those corners!
This Thursday, my Three Dimensional class had a collaborative project on display
at the Museum of Contemporary Art
of Denver. Getting something into a Museum at age twenty one ain't too shabby.
It's nice to have these new found connections of mine.
The piece is
a Geodesic Dome, with a projected movie, showing it's creation. We stole the idea from a
piece another artist did - he recorded the sounds of himself sawing and hammering a box, and
then played that recording inside the box. Ours is hipper.
On the other side of the brain, a program I've written was highlighted on the homepage of one of the largest publishers of technical books for Open Source products.
On top of all that, I finally got my driver's license for the first time, bought a car for the first time and ate some vegan Riblets with a girl I met at a Halloween party.
