I live with a girl with intrinsic green eyes, who, when asleep closes her eyes
but opens up her fraility underneathe the covers and the over sized pillow she
clutches as she dreams of purple dragons and unicorns, like the ones on her desk
in the living room by her two dogs, one dog appears to me like a black, curly hippopotimus,
something I would dream up while I embrace her, in my own sleep, when she's
there and I'm hoping the alarm doesn't sound too soon to wake me up and start
my day with work and school and a girl that isn't quite as beautiful when she's
awake, headstrong with a shieth of sterness to hide what the world wants to see
from a tired, hard-working enchanting girl.
