a picture i took with my polaroid ee 100 special, color film. i snapped
the pic, and immediately took the undeveloped picture out of the camera,
threw it on the ground and started to jump on top of it for at least
half a minute. i then grabbed it with my hands and started squishing
and rubbing the photo. after the minute it takes for it to develop,
i carefully unrolled the front (this polaroid camera is super old, the
film comes out and you peel apart the picture from the developing gunk)
and this is what i got. i learned how to do it somewhere.
you should try it, tons of fun.
the picture shows my home street, where i've lived for 18 years. you
can make out the 'hubbard' houses on the left and right of the pic.
if you go farther down the street, just a little ways, you 'll see the
_first church_ and the namesake of the street. the church looks exactly
like the one thats in boston massachusetts. one of the towns stole the
others design ideas fully.
almost time for me to move to boulder colorado to go to school. i don't
know what my street is going to look like, or even the name. i've been
kicked out of my mandatory-for-freshman dorm room for lack of space
and now am forced to find an apartment in 10 days before work (on campus
of course) starts. delightful.
so, if your in boulder colorado, are looking for a roomate and are
into one of the following things:
college, skateboarding, snowboarding, running, weightlifting, writing,
drawing, graphic design, mountain biking, rockclimbing, philosophy,
photography, the art, breathing
oh yeah, my polaroid camera is all whack now, and it only takes pictures
of blue stuff, tho i do enjoy the color that develops, its a very intrepid
blue:
